"MetaTrader Is the Best Thing I Have Seen in Trading": An Interview with Konstantin Rasap

At iFX EXPO International 2026, we met with Konstantin Rasap to discuss his long-standing experience with MetaTrader, the platform's evolution, and the new products within the MetaQuotes ecosystem.

Konstantin's journey with MetaTrader began back in 2004 — initially as a trader and later from the perspective of a brokerage business. Even at that time, the platform made a strong impression on him and, in his words, was the best trading solution he had seen on the market.

Over the years, Konstantin has been able to evaluate MetaQuotes products from multiple perspectives: as a trading platform user, an industry professional, and a representative of a brokerage company. In the interview, he emphasizes that his high opinion of MetaTrader is not simply a compliment, but the result of many years of experience with the platform.

Today, his company uses various MetaQuotes solutions depending on its current business demands. Among the company's newer products, Konstantin highlights Ultency — an integrated liquidity management solution that operates within the MetaQuotes infrastructure and provides brokers with a range of technological and operational advantages.

Konstantin also shares his perspective on how MetaTrader 5 has evolved from a broker's point of view. Beyond the features directly available to traders, the platform continues to advance at the level of server infrastructure, integrations, and tools designed to support brokerage operations.
