Mohammed Younis of Noor Capital has spent around 20 years in the brokerage industry. Having watched trading technology evolve from MetaTrader 3 to today's platforms, he has seen firsthand how the needs of traders and brokers have changed. At Forex Expo Dubai 2026, we spoke with him about MetaTrader's evolution, growing demand for liquidity aggregation tools and the prospects for AI in trading.
Mohammed remembers when a trading platform was all you needed to run a brokerage. Today, the landscape is very different: investors are more knowledgeable, the range of financial instruments has
expanded, and brokers need additional services, integrations and analytical tools. For Mohammed, one of MetaTrader's key strengths is its ability to support an evolving trading infrastructure and
integrate new technologies as market requirements change.
Liquidity was another focus of the conversation. As competition intensifies, brokers need to aggregate quotes from multiple liquidity providers to offer clients competitive pricing. Mohammed notes that liquidity aggregation solutions are in particularly high demand, and Noor Capital is also looking to expand into this area.
The discussion also turned to artificial intelligence. Clients are increasingly asking for automated trading, copy trading and AI tools for market analysis and forecasting. With technology advancing so quickly, brokers need to keep pace with new solutions to remain competitive.
Noor Capital is already aware of the built-in AI Assistant in MetaTrader 5 and plans to test its capabilities. Mohammed is optimistic about these new tools and expects further advances in AI to bring significant changes to trading in the years ahead.
Towards the end of the interview, Mohammed reflected on his experience with MetaTrader. He started with the platform's third version and saw the impact MetaTrader 4 had on the industry. He believes MetaTrader continues to meet changing market requirements and is well positioned to incorporate new technologies, including AI. Noor Capital's commitment to the platform is clear: Mohammed says the company trusts MetaQuotes' platforms and has no plans to switch.
