# Market Facilitation Index（マーケットファシリテーションインデックス）

マーケットファシリテーションインデックス（Market Facilitation Index Technical Indicator、BW MFI）は1ティックの毎の価格の変化を表した指標です。指標の絶対値自体には意味がなく、指標の値の変化のみに意味があります。ビルウィリアムズは、MFIと数量のやり取りを重視しています。

- マーケットファシリテーションインデックスが増加して、数量も増加した場合。このことは下記を意味します。 a) 相場に参加しているトレーダの数が増加する（数量が増加する）b) 新しく参加したトレーダが足が推移した方向に注文を出す。つまり、値動きが始まり、スピードが上がる。
- マーケットファシリテーションインデックスが下がり、数量も下がった場合市場参加者がもう関心がなくなったことを意味します。
- マーケットファシリテーションインデックスが増加したにも関わらず、数量が下がった場合相場が参加者の取引量によって支えられていない、また、トレーダ（ブローカーやディーラー）が「底」と判断することによって価格が変化する可能性があります。
- マーケットファシリテーションインデックス減少し、数量が増加した場合大規模の取引量を特徴にする強気側と弱気側の戦いがあり、力が等しいため価格は著しく変化しません。最終的に売り手と買い手の一方が勝利します。一般的に、バーのブレイクはその足がトレンドを継続させるかトレンドをなくすかを教えてくれます。ビルウィリアムズはこの様なバーを「おじぎ」と呼びます。

足の高値から安値を引いて、数量で割ります。

BW MFI = (HIGH - LOW) / VOLUME
```

ここで

HIGH — 足の高値
LOW — 足の安値
VOLUME — 現在足の数量 です。
