# Current Account

The [Current Account Balance](https://www.mql5.com/en/economic-calendar/united-states/current-account) is the ratio between the amount of payments into and out of the country. If payments into the country exceed payments to other countries and international organizations, the balance of payments is positive , if on the contrary, it is negative. The surplus (or decrease in the deficit) is a favorable factor for the growth of the national currency. It has a limited impact on the market.
