# NBNZ Business Confidence

This is a monthly measure of New Zealand business confidence. Representatives of New Zealand's businesses are surveyed about their outlook for the next 12 months. Positive sentiment bodes well for the economy, usually associated with higher employment, rising income, and increased investment due to expectations of economic expansion. The index is a good leading indicator of the direction of the economy.

- Release Frequency: monthly, except January.
- Release Schedule: 13:00 GMT, the last day of the reporting period.
