# Window

This menu features commands for managing [windows](https://www.metatrader5.com/en/metaeditor/help/workspace/source_code_windows) of edited files. Here you can choose how to place windows in the workspace and make one of them active:

| ![Cascade](https://www.metatrader5.com/i/help/metaeditor/en/cascade_icon.png) | Cascade | Arrange file windows as a cascade. |
| ![Tile Windows](https://www.metatrader5.com/i/help/metaeditor/en/tile_windows_icon.png) | Tile Windows | Arrange file windows as a tile. |
| ![Tile Horizontally](https://www.metatrader5.com/i/help/metaeditor/en/tile_horizontally_icon.png) | Tile Horizontally | Arrange file windows horizontally. |
| ![Tile Vertically](https://www.metatrader5.com/i/help/metaeditor/en/tile_vertically.png) | Tile Vertically | Arrange file windows vertically. |
| ![Arrange Icons](https://www.metatrader5.com/i/help/metaeditor/en/arrange_icons_icon.png) | Arrange Icons | Arrange minimized windows. All open windows are minimized and located at the bottom of the workspace. This is useful when working with multiple files at the same time. |

A list of all open file windows is located in the lower part of this menu. The current window is checked. To activate another window, select it from this list.
