# Help

The Help menu is auxiliary. Execution of this menu commands does not influence MetaEditor operation in any way. It contains the following commands:

|  | Command | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| ![Help Topics](https://www.metatrader5.com/i/help/metaeditor/en/help_icon.png) | Help Topics | Open built-in Help topics. They describe all MetaEditor settings and functions. |
| ![Online Search](https://www.metatrader5.com/i/help/metaeditor/en/find_icon.png) | Online Search | Search in [MQL4.community](https://www.mql4.com/) or [MQL5.community](https://www.mql5.com/) website. Place the mouse cursor, highlight a necessary word or phrase in the [code editing window](https://www.metatrader5.com/en/metaeditor/help/workspace/source_code_windows) and execute the command. Search results are displayed in the [Search](https://www.metatrader5.com/en/metaeditor/help/workspace/toolbox#search) tab of the Toolbox window. When you select several words, the search is performed on the first three ones. |
