# Unemployment

Dieser Index ist ein Schlüssel-Indikator für die deutsche Arbeitslosenrate. Die Arbeitslosenrate ist die Prozentzahl an arbeitsfähiger Bevölkerung ohne Job, die aktiv nach einer Arbeitsstelle suchen. Der Indikator wird auf den Daten der letzten drei Monate berechnet. Der Index wird berechnet auf Basis der Anzahl an Arbeitslosenanträgen und reflektiert die Änderungen im Level der Arbeitslosigkeit. Der Indikator ist sehr wichtig für Deutschland und die Eurozone und daher für den Euro. Die Arbeitslosenrate hat einen hohen Einfluss auf die Entscheidung von Politik und Zentralbanken.
