# IFO Survey

Diese Umfrage ist einer der wichtigsten Indikatoren für das Geschäftsklima eines Landes. Die Umfrage wird monatlich durchgeführt unter deutschen Firmen über das aktuelle deutsche Geschäftsklima, sowie die Erwartungen an die nächsten sechs Monate. Als die größte Volkswirtschaft in der Eurozone, ist Deutschland etwa für ein Viertel des gesamten europäischen GDP verantwortlich. Dementsprechend ist der deutsche IFO ein signifikanter Indikator für die Gesundheit der Wirtschaft der Eurozone.

Eine Zahl unter 100 ist ein Indikator für ein stagnierende Wirtschaft. Werte über 100 stehen für Wachstumsoptimismus, was sich positiv auf den Euro auswirkt.

Die Umfrage repräsentiert zwei gleich-gewichtete Sub-Indizes: Current Assessment und Business Expectations.
